Ogden Valley is home to wide variety of wildlife, including deer, elk, wild turkeys, bald eagles, pelicans (yes, really!), and everybody's favorite -- MOOSE! This guy decided to take a drink in my backyard one summer afternoon.

Community Overview  

Ogden Valley is a beautiful resort area made up of three towns: Eden, Huntsville, and Liberty, each with its own personality. The combination of world class skiing, championship golf, and a 3,000 acre lake in a picturesque, uncrowded mountain valley with large expanses of open space is unmatched anywhere. What do I mean by uncrowded? There isn't a stop light in the entire Valley! And it is not uncommon to play 18 holes at Wolf Creek in under 3 hours -- even on Saturday morning! There is a wide selection of single family homes and condos throughout the valley.

Huntsville real estate capitalizes on its proximity to Snowbasin, site of the 2002 Olympic downhill and Super G events. Although the general plan for "Snowbasin real estate" is still on paper, there are lots of properties with easy access to the mountain.

Popular Huntsville properties are in the Green Hills, Ski Lake, Lakeside Village developments as well as in Huntsville town. Eden real estate includes Wolf Creek Resort (with its championship golf course and collection of condominium and single family developments), Patio Springs, and Nordic Valley (adjacent to the newly upgraded Wolf Mountain ski area.)

Eden's Powder Mountain, with its vast acreage, is the choice of local powder hounds and back country enthusiasts. Liberty is located at the north end of the valley, and is noted for its rural feel. Although none of the valley is highly developed by the standards of other ski resort areas, Liberty real estate is somewhat less developed than other areas of the valley.

Ogden Valley Balloon Festival August 14 - 17, 2009  The premier event of the summer in Ogden Valley was another great success!  In addition to one of the top hot air balloon competitions in the country, the Valley was buzzing with live music, arts and crafts and food. It's a great time to be a local.  If you aren't one now, give me a call and I will help you find your own piece of paradise!
