My husband, Al, and I discovered the Ogden Valley in 1999 and quickly decided that this was the spot we had been looking for (It's a long story!) We fell in love with the beauty, the wildlife and the recreation, but mostly, we fell in love with the people. (Al says that there's someone in the Valley he doesn't like, but he just hasn't met them yet!)
It didn't take long for us to start looking for real estate because we were very certain that we wanted to move to Ogden Valley as soon as Al retired. We bought our home in 2000, but didn't actually move here from Connecticut iuntil March of 2004. On February 27, our last day of work, we left the office, picked up the cats and hit the road. We were out of Connecticut before we stopped for the night!
Once we arrived, we realized that Ogden Valley was a soon-to-be discovered gem, and that we wanted to be a part of the coming boom. So we started looking for investment real estate. In that process, we had a hard time finding an agent who understood investing. I decided that my background would be well suited to selling real estate -- I have a doctorate in marketing, a strong investment/securites background, and have been a consultant to major financial services companies. I offer my clients the same qualities I looked for in an agent.
Since then, I have worked with a variety of clients -- local and out of state; buyers and sellers; personal residences and investment properties; homes and land.
