Huntsville Real Estate

Huntsville real estate is a step into a friendly, uncrowded world.  Huntsville is a quaint little town on the shores of Pineview Reservoir. The old fashioned town square is the site of many events throughout the year, but the largest is the annual Independence Day breakfast.Crowds at that event seem to be larger than the entire population of Huntsville! One of the highlights of the day is when the F-15 fighter jets fly over the park. The fly-over is literally an act of Congress -- recognition of the town´s contributions to World War II when Huntsville had the highest number of soldiers per capita of any town in America.

The 2002 Winter Olympics put Huntsville on the map when Snowbasin: A Sun Valley Resort hosted the Alpine skiing speed events -- the Downhill, Super G and Combined races.Visitors from around the world marveled at the spectacular scenery and warm hospitality from Ogden Valley natives.

Snowbasin has made a name for itself as a world class ski resort. In addition to challenging runs, new high speed lifts and the addition of new terrain, the elegant facilities set the resort apart from most ski areas in North America. In addition to downhill skiing, the resort grooms a network of cross-country trails. In summer, the Needles gondola runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday for sightseeing, hiking and mountain biking. For those hardy souls who hike up to the top, the ride back down is free! One of the best spots in the Valley to see moose in the summer is from the gondola around tower #13!

Apres ski, no trip to Huntsville is complete without a stop at the Shooting Star Saloon in the center of town.Their "Star Burger" is regularly featured in major ski magazines as the best burger in any ski resort town in America!
