There are four condo complexes in the Valley.  Each has its own personality, and each is quite different from the others.

Wolf Lodge consists of 1 and 2 bedroom units.  Built in the mid-1980s, these are the least expensive condos in the Valley.  They range in size from 560 sq ft to 1150 sq ft.  The two bedrooms are two stories, and the one bedrooms are one story.  The main floor layout is roughly the same for both one and two bedroom units.  View vary widely from one building to another.

There is a clubhouse with exercise room and indoor spa, and a large outdoor pool with spa.
Wolf Lodge is zoned for nightly and weekly rentals, and
property management is available in the Valley.

Wolf Star was also built in the mid-1980s.  They range from 2 to 4 bedrooms and the floorplans vary widely from one unit to another.  Most have space behind the garage that has been (or can be) converted into additional rooms.  In some cases, there is an inside staircase that accesses this space, but in some units, the only access is through the garage.   The floorplans are very "liveable" -- they would be very comfortable as a primary residence.  Each unit has a two-car garage -- Wolf Star condos are the only ones to offer garages at this price point.  Wolf Star is not zoned for nightly/weekly rentals.

Moose Hollow/Cascades at Moose Hollow are much newer than Wolf Lodge and Wolf Star.  The original Moose Hollow Condos were built around 1999 and construction continues today.  They are very attractive, inside and out, and fit with their mountain environment.  Originally intended as ski accommodations, the early units have a fairly small living room and very little room for a dining table.  Later modifications to the floor plans addressed this issue.  They range from 2 to 4 bedrooms.

The Cascades started in 2003, and are the upscale offering.  They are substantially larger than regular Moose Hollow units, and feature garages and owner lock-outs which allow the owner to use part of the condo while renting the rest.  Although substantially more expensive than Moose Hollow, the Cascades would be far more comfortable as a full time residence.

Both Moose Hollow and the Cascades are zoned for nightly/weekly rentals.

Lakeside Village is located on the shores of  Pineview Reservoir in Huntsville.  The original buildings were built in the early 1980s.  The newer buildings date from 2002 to the present.  Each new building features additional upgrades and improved finishes.  The floorplans are very "livable" Along with the Cascades, the newer units are the most expensive condos in the Valley.  Several buildings are adjacent to Pineview Reservoir and feature fabulous views.  Access to the beach is via Anderson Cove campground next door.  These are the closest condos to Snowbasin.  Two bedroom units have carports, and larger units have garages.  Lakeside Village is zoned for nightly rental

Property management is available in the Valley.  Fees for short term rental management are typically 40% of the rent amount.  Long term property management fees are typically 10%.  Each property management firm can provide you with a list of the services included in the base fee.

For owners who wish to handle property managment themselves, Vacation Rental by Owner (VRBO.com) is one of a number of websites that assist owners in marketing their properties.  These sites include photos, rates, availability calendars and typically accept the rental fees.  There are a number of companies in the Valley that provide housekeeping services between renters.
